Polished house cleaning has recently been established by myself Jenny Kirwan to provide a superior service of house cleaning, housekeeping on the Gold Coast. I have recently returned to Australia after 5 years working in England as a full time housekeeper for two VIP families. My duties included everything from daily cleaning of 2 very large homes along with all other duties you would expect to achieve the smooth running of these busy households. These included daily cleaning, washing/ironing, cooking, dinner party help, shopping, dog walking, baby sitting etc…
The first of these positions was a beautiful 5 bedroom property in rural Hampshire working for the Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank and his lovely wife Sarah. A very busy household with daily cleaning & lots of business shirts to be ironed every week. I was there for 2 years before moving on to another large country property as the housekeeper to Sir Charles and Lady B. I also spent some time as the daily cleaner at the Grade 1 listed, Waterston Manor, Dorset. Another stunning property as shown below in photo.
Jenny Kirwan worked for me as a housekeeper from January 2010 until April 2012. She and her husband, Steve, lived in our cottage, close to the family house.Jenny’s duties included cleaning a large family house, doing washing, ironing, cooking, providing security and looking after 2 Labrador dogs.
Every job Jenny did, she did perfectly. She was incredibly hard-working, energetic, intelligent and always cheerful. She was a complete delight to have around and was scrupulously honest. She was also good at taking the initiative.
Jenny and Steve looked after our cottage beautifully and left it in immaculate state when they left.
I would highly recommend Jenny Kirwan to do any job she turned her hand to.

I am delighted to write this reference for Jenny who has been in our employ as housekeeper/cook since May 2013. First and foremost Jenny is trustworthy and dependable. She has attended to her duties most conscientiously, is an excellent cook, is adored by our dogs and commands the respect of our 10 year old daughter. Further, Jenny has on many occasions shown great flexibility, initiative and common sense in looking after the house and our dogs and cat when we have had to go away at short notice.She has performed her housekeeping duties well, and is particularly good at ironing.
